qqc Sports: The Mindset of a Champion
Q: Why do we see these great professional athletes as having "natural talent"? Is it because we assume that because they are so good at what they do, they must have been good from the start? Or is it because we measure ourselves up to these people, and because we can not do what they do, we automatically think that their ability comes easy to them?
Q:"'He was a paradox. His physical performances in the ring were absolutely wrong... Yet his brain was always in perfect working condition."
C: This is the quote that sparked my question. Ali was a fantastic boxer though his methods were all mental instead of physical, as most people would say that it was. In retrospect he was horrible. he had no "form" what so ever. What he did have was cunning. He studied his opponent, found a weakness and exploited it to the best of his ability. The only other thing he did was act crazy to through his opponent off his game. I thought that was interesting.
